FORA was established in 2003. Our main aim was to assist in the Krugersdorp and surrounding areas, where there is a huge need. At any given time, we are home to approximately 500 rescue animals (350-400 dogs and 100-150 cats). While in our care, all animals get vaccinated, dewormed, external parasite control and sterilized. A shelter is never a happy ever after for any animal, they all deserve and belong in a home with a family, so we try to be their stepping stone to their new homes. While in our care, we give them the best quality life that we possibly can. Being an NPC we rely solely on fund raisers, donation and the goodwill of the public.
